Pinto beans are a staple in my home. They are tasty, easy to make, fiber-rich, and very cheap. You can use pinto beans in tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, and many more dishes thus, the main ingredient in my refried beans recipe. With this easy pinto bean recipe, you can just throw all of your ingredients in an instant pot or just one pot of your choice and leave it alone. This is the perfect recipe for meal prepping and best of all it’s packed with flavor.

Easy Vegan Pinto Bean Recipe
This vegan pinto bean recipe is easy, quick, and can be made in an instant pot.
Equipment
Ingredients
- 3 cans pinto beans
- 1 small yellow onion
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tsp goya seasoning (you can use any goya seasoning of your choice)
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp better than vegetable bouillon
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- In a large stock pot, saute your onion and garlic for about 2-3 minutes or until your vegetables are soft.
- Add the pinto beans. Season with goya seasoning and cumin.
- Add the water and better than vegetable bouillon. Cover the pot and let the pinto beans simmer for 25 minutes.
- Taste the beans and season to your liking. Serve and enjoy.
